Our Story
At Lightwork Business our purpose is simple. By making 'light work' of your business needs we aim to save new and growing businesses time and make it easier for people to establish and run their companies.
This is based on the premise that we know sorting out the fundamentals to get a company up and running isn’t what people go into business for – their business idea is.
As a result we simply want to provide answers to the common business questions small businesses face to enable them to get the legal, financial and administrative basics of running a company - the Basics of Business - right from day 1!

Our People
Graeme Hay (Managing Director)
Originally a Management Consultant, Graeme first came across the potential for Lightwork Business when working for an online legal solutions provider. It wasn't long after that he chose to leave and join us as Managing Director!
He is a law graduate from the University of Edinburgh and was chosen as one of Who's Who of Britain's Business Leaders in 2010. An avid sports fan who enjoys playing golf and coaching one of his local rugby teams.
Neil Beck (Finance Director)
Neil is the former Managing Partner of Wellers Accountants who works with entrepreneurs, business owners and private individuals to deliver quality advice and solutions that help them fulfil their aspirations.
Neil now specialises as a Director, Advisor and Investor, and adds his long term expertise and experience in the SME marketplace to the development of the company.
Neil Buirski (Chief Technical Advisor)
Neil is in overall charge of all things technical for Lightwork Business and is responsible for making sure our online platform does indeed make things as easy as possible for you and your business.
A natural on the golf course Neil still harbours hopes of a late blooming career taking him all the way to the top of the game. In the meantime we're delighted to have him as part of our team!
